Is It Painful?

Generally, there is some swelling of the treated area. While eyebrows may show little after effect, eyeliner and lips may show more and swelling may last one to two days. During the procedure there may be some bleeding and/or bruising. There is usually some tenderness for a few days.
When Can I Return To Work?
Icing is important and perhaps the use of an anti-inflammatory. Healing time varies with each individual, but most return to work the next day.
